I'm a transactional lawyer turned commercial strategist. I started in top-tier law firms, moved in-house, and eventually made a pivot most lawyers are told isn't possible: into a deal strategy role at AWS, working directly with the sales team on the largest and most complex accounts in the region.
That experience—combined with an LLM from the University of Chicago, an MBA, and a law degree from NALSAR—gave me a clear view of what it actually takes for a specialist to cross over into commercial leadership. It's not an MBA. It's not a rebrand. It's knowing how to translate the value of your expertise into the language of the person making the hiring decision.
I work primarily with lawyers—law firm associates, in-house counsel, and policy specialists—who are trying to make the move into Deal Strategy, Chief of Staff, VC/PE, Legal Operations, or international firms. If you've hit the ceiling of what your current track offers and aren't sure what comes next, that's the conversation I'm built for.
